bulletCertificate IV in Allied Health Assistance

Applicants to this course may be eligible for funding under the "Skills Victoria - Victorian Training Guarantee". Please check the funding table for eligiblity criteria or contact Mayfield Education Student Services for further information.

Allied Health Assistants work directly with clients to implement allied health programs. They may work under the supervision of physiotherapists, dieticians, podiatrists, speech therapists and occupational therapists.

This course commences 25 February 2010.

bulletIntroduction to Healthcare Safety and Quality Improvement

This introductory workshop will provide the participant with a solid basis for understanding how to improve safety and quality and the contribution you can make in the healthcare environment. The course is designed for healthcare staff with little or no previous quality-related experience who would like to participate more actively in monitoring and improving patient, client and resident care through an understanding of fundamental quality issues and systems.

This course commences 16 April 2010.

Applicants are advised that Mayfield Education does not have CRICOS accreditation and is therefore unable to accept into any Certificate course persons residing in Australia on a Student Visa. This does not apply to applicants wishing to enrol travelling on a work or spousal visa.
