Course Benefits

This course will enable the participant to be confident in and aware of:

  • detergents and soil testing requirements
  • the structure of steam sterilisers
  • the impact of steam quality on sterilisation
  • the terminology used to describe validation procedures
  • the concepts and principles involved in process validation

3 day course at Mayfield from 9.00am to 4.30pm.

Fee

$895 per person. A light lunch will be provided.

Students may choose to receive assessment materials at a cost of $60. If successfuly completed, students will received the 'Advanced Sterilising' unit from the course 'Certificate in Infection Control and Sterilisation'. (Conditions Apply)

Closing Date

Three weeks beforehand. Late applications considered.

Location

Hawthorn campus.

Organisations may choose to have this program delivered in the workplace as a customised course.
