Designed for:
Registered division 2 nurses working in an acute care setting or equivalent.
Entry Criteria
• Registered with the Nurses Board of Victoria as an endorsed division 2 registered nurse (all 4 routes: Enteral, Topical, Subcutaneous and Intramuscular).
• Completion of unit Contribute to the complex nursing care of clients. (HLTEN505A)
Delivery
This course is delivered over 6 classroom days plus 1 week of clinical placement. The course is 100 hours comprising:
• 62 hours of theory, nursing laboratory simulation and self directed learning
• 38 hours of supervised clinical placement.
