Upgrade to Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled/Division 2 Nursing) (HLT51607) - with RPL
This course is for Enrolled/Division 2 Nurses that have completed the course Certificate IV in Nursing (Enrolled/ Division 2 Nursing) that wish to up-skill to the Diploma qualification. This course is open to all candidates who have undertaken either the HLT43407, 21358VIC or 2407ADC nursing courses.
Eligibility
Applicants will be required to attend an information session so that an individual, tailor-made RPL program may be developed based on their academic transcript.Delivery
All Diploma RPL students are required to complete the four units of:
- Apply principles of diabetic nursing care
- Administer and monitor intravenous medication in the nursing environment
- Apply research skills
- Provide nursing care for clients requiring palliative care

Date
Commencing Friday 17 February 2012 (duration 6 months plus 2 weeks clinical placement).
All applications will be individually reviewed to ascertain course attendance dates, to reflect RPL application.
Award
Nationally Recognised CertificateLearning Pathway
Some course credit is offered to a Division 1 nursing course.
