All health workers in a new supervisory position or who are preparing for supervisory positions and will be developing and managing staff to deliver set goals and objectives within the workplace.

• Communication styles and their impact on people
• Working with and developing a team
• Dealing with conflict and managing the negotiation process
• Delegation: why, how and what to delegate
• Developing collaborative working relationships through managing up
• Using time wisely

Students may choose to receive additional assessment materials at a cost of $120 for each unit. Once submitted, these will be assessed and if successfully completed students will receive units “Ensure team effectiveness (BSBWOR502A)” and “Manage personal work priorities and professional development (BSBWOR501A)” from the “Diploma of Management”.
